(Bridget looking so content)
Bridget's one month old now. It's been an interesting month of sleepless nights, dirty diapers and a lot of adjusting.
At her 1st doctor's appointment Bridget weighed 6lb 6oz, 8oz less than her birth weight which is normal but the doctor was concerned so asked to see her again at 2 weeks for another weigh in. So Bridget started her training to enter the glamorous world of competative eating and by the next appointment weighed 7lb 14oz.

I had a board exam to take at the end of August so my school schedule gave me time to study which meant I could be at home in the mornings and spend time with Bridget when she wakes up. I would wake up and take her and let Kate sleep, and Bridget would lay in my lap as I studied. So far she's been pretty happy in the mornings. This is my favourite time with her.
For the first few weeks she refused to let me hold her or burp on my shoulder. Everytime I would put her up there she would insist on showing off her neck muscles by holding her head back away from my shoulder and looking up at my face. After a while her neck would get "tired" and she would "accidently" head butt me as she fell back to my shoulder. She now feels like she's proved whatever point she was trying to make and has now started to snuggle on my shoulder.
